Community Involvement

Bouchard has entered into an agreement with Keep Pinellas Beautiful/Adopt-A-Mile. Team Bouchard will be doing quarterly clean-ups on Drew Street, between North Park Place and McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater. This is our first team of “Bouchard Pickers”.

Bouchard recently signed a 10 year contract with Pinellas Education Foundation to be the insurance sponsor for Finance Park at the Stavros Institute in Largo. The Finance Park curriculum teaches 8th grade students how to make wise financial decisions.

This was Bouchard’s third year sponsoring a house for Paint Your Heart Out Clearwater, which is held annually the last weekend of March. This year, Team Bouchard (27 volunteers) painted a 1,900 sq. ft. home in Clearwater.

Brynn, Allison, Chris, Paul, and Scott at Big Brothers Big Sisters' Bowling for Kids’ Sake on Saturday, March 10 in Clearwater. Did you know that eight of our employees are Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Pinellas County? Go Team Bouchard!

This year, our Social Services Division rounded up teddy bears again for its second annual teddy bear drive. Bouchard employees brought in hundreds of stuffed animals which were then donated to Directions for Mental Health.

The Christmas tree pictured above was featured in UPARC Foundation’s Festival of Trees in December. The agency purchased the prize-winning tree from the Festival, raising $450 for UPARC. The theme of the tree was “Jolly Ole Tampa Bay”, and it was on display in our lobby for most of December.

Our Fort Myers Division decorated a tree to help raise funds for the Southwest Florida Symphony. The tree was featured in a silent auction in early December.

Each year, the Kissimmee office paints a wooden ornament for the annual Ornaments on Parade in downtown Kissimmee. All proceeds from the sale of the ornaments will benefit a future hospice facility in Osceola County.

During the month of October, a few of our employees from Clearwater worked hard to raise $2000 for the American Cancer Society, specifically for breast cancer research. The Friday before they participated in American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Bouchard employees wore pink (and jeans!) to show our support for the cause.

In September, the Kissimmee office was recognized by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners for its contributions to the community. Congratulations, Kissimmee!
