Bouchard Insurance undergoes brand makeover; renews commitment to customer service
Clearwater, Florida (January 26, 2012) - Bouchard Insurance, headquartered in Clearwater, recently underwent an extensive branding project. The outcomes include a new brand mark, an updated website (www.bouchardinsurance.com), and, according to CEO Doug Bishop, a renewed commitment to the company's primary guiding principle, Client First.
"We have achieved success by focusing on the core values identified by Mr. [Roger] Bouchard in 1948, and later defined in our guiding principles: integrity, professionalism, and a 'client first' mentality. We are excited to introduce our new brand mark that embodies these values and speaks to who we have become as an organization," Bishop says of the changes.
The new brand mark includes the tagline 'Client First' and a small arch over the h in Bouchard. The arch is seen by some as a hat tip to the company's original logo, which included an umbrella. Others interpret it as a tree. Both interpretations are fine with Bishop - he says the arch was designed to symbolize protection, coverage, and strength.
The former logo, which was adopted when the company was purchased by Naples-based First National Bankshares in 1999, will be phased out by Bouchard early this year. The Bouchard management team purchased the agency back from FNB in 2004 and made the strategic decision to allow Bouchard Insurance to remain a privately-held, organically-grown agency.
"We are confident that our tried-and-true values and new look will blend seamlessly in 2012. We're attracting new talent and utilizing new technology while aiming to provide an unprecedented level of customer service," says Bishop.
